Michelle lives in Fords with her husband and two children. She was raised in a two-parent household in subsidized housing and is the only child of hardworking factory workers.
As a first-generation homeowner and college graduate, Michelle has dedicated her career to social work. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University – New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a Master’s in Child Advocacy with a focus on Policy and Planning from Montclair State University.
With over two decades of experience in the New Jersey Department of Child Protection and Permanency, Michelle has worked within systems that directly impact the lives of New Jersey residents—education, healthcare, housing, criminal justice, and behavioral health. Through this work, she identified inefficiencies in current legislation that waste taxpayer dollars while failing to serve communities effectively.
As your Assembly representative, Michelle will work alongside the governor to create policies that ensure taxpayer dollars are managed responsibly and effectively, leading to sustainable solutions for all New Jerseyans.
Michelle is running for Assembly because she believes New Jersey needs leadership that understands how to create real, lasting change. She is committed to ensuring government accountability, making the state more affordable, and standing up for the people—without hesitation.
Her vision is clear:
- Address the New Jersey housing crisis
- Revamp the educational funding formula
- Increase transparency in senior nursing home care
- Develop sustainable legislation to improve behavioral health, criminal justice, and healthcare systems
Michelle is ready to be the voice New Jersey needs—fearless, experienced, and dedicated to putting people first.
